Products for a white car

Featured Replies

Car was supposed to make last Saturdays "4th Sept" sailing but failed to do so.Next Sailing due on 21st Sept. I am now assured by my dealer I will have it before the end of this month.

This has allowed me to build up some stock

Bought the following:

CG = Chemical Guys

1) HD Snow Foam Lance and snow foam

2) Cg Wheel seal

3) CG Window cleaner

4) CG P40

5) CG Blitz

6)CG Leather cleaner/Conditioner

7) CG Silk Shine

8) Tardis

9) Megs gold class Tyre Endurance High Gloss.

10) MF Wash Mitt

A stash of MF cloths and applicators ans some window cleaning cloths.

I think thats about it.

Now

do you have any views on the CG P40 and Blitz?

I also have my tried and trusted Harly Wax at hand.. Should I top it off with a coat or two of this?

Thanks

Well,

I went on recommendation of seller and read up on them on the CG website, >> READ HERE

CG say it is perfect for new and used paint.

The thing is i was advised not to use SRP on new paint as it is a bit harsh, but when I tried the P40 on my sons red civic it appeared to have a lot more "bite" in it than srp.

I just dont want to use anything too severe on new paint.

Thanks

I haven't used P40 but it comes across as a 'Final Finish' polish so this should be fine for the job you intend to use it for, I assume you will be applying it by a machine or will this be applied by hand?

Blitz is something I have on my shelf but have yet to try so can't comment on that one but had heard good things about it on DW............

Hi

I will be applying all products by hand.

I have used both on my sons civic as I have already said and was well pleased with the results.

My only concern was that i thought the "cut" in the P40 appeared to be quite harsh compared to SRP.

Maybe it was just me?

This is a pic of the beading on my sons car.

about 4 weeks since a coat of P40 and Blitz was put on.

over a week since being washed so is grubby as well.
