Turbo Actuator

Featured Replies

Hello folks, after recently replacing my turbo on my Fabia VRS, I'd like to check that the actuator is operating correctly, is there any settings etc that should be made, or is it a case of no vacuum - level stays put, full vacuum - levers moves fully the other way?? I seemed to remember reading somewhere that there should be a gap that you measure with some feeler gauges???

Cheers

If you have access to VAGcom/VCDS, theres a test that can be run on the actuator.. it raises the idle and then operates the actuator.. you can hear/see it move... Dont think theres anything that can be checked with feeler gauges, although i think there might be a measurement to check the length/adjustment of the actuator arm
