Skoda Octavia vRS - 53 Reg - Modified - £3250

Featured Replies

She's now sold.

Happy that's she's gone to a fellow Skoda owner, and someone who genuinely will enjoy her.

Thank you Briskoda for all the help over the years :S

Price drop, due to Father having a ETA of less than two weeks for the new car, so this could do with making way for his now.

Private plate paperwork has been entered into the DVLA system so a 1-2weeks for the car being back on it's original registration.

Why are cars like this not around whenever I'm buying  :'( :S :S

does it have a front mount??????

or is it still standard sidemount ???

Still a standard sidemount, but I must have spent £100's ( actual figure closer to £15 ) on the TT vent mod ;)

The plan originally was to FMIC her and a load of other work, which would have taken place had I not found a job 100 miles away from home, thus leaving me with motorway miles and no time to enjoy her around the Welsh countryside as I was only doing 5-8000 miles a year. The fact she's hasn't seen much over ambient 20oC in this country, and not in any traffic situation for occurring heat soak and such, it was never a upgrade that needed doing asap.

While I remember, I've edited the original post to include the fact she had a new top of the range battery at the start of the year, and a Audi TT vent mod as found on these very forums ( aka Pikey Mod ).

The cars original numberplate is now back on, so car is ready and waiting. She will now be stored at home most probably and my new car be used to commute to work.

The car has some rust repair below the rear window, and although the filler was done to a perfect standard by works bodyshop guy, he doesn't do paint. I attempted it and although there's red paint on there, it's not right, the car is thus reduced to match the £100-150 quotes I've had to get it painted as I wont have a chance to try again or take her in due to work, I can give the new owner the paints4u repair spray set if they would rather have a go before taking her in to a bodyshop.

She is now going on ebay, and local papers, it will be very sad to see her go to someone who doesn't appreciate her as much as a enthusiast.

Paint issue photos will be added to main post in a tic.

Right guys and gals, the car is now not being used as I've swapped the insurance onto the new Accord. It will be left in the care of my parents, and I'll pop back for any potential buyers. At the moment I've got the car on eBay motors and she's also got a best offer bid, it's currently just under £3000, going on that offer, the car will be sold soon when someone offers a bit higher. It might just be me but I genuinely believe there a bargain of a car here to be had, so if your considering, please don't hang about.
