Whats needed to fit cruise control

Featured Replies

hi there i was talking to a friend the other day, and he said that they had cruise control fitted, now i have a fl 2010 se spec car with the 2.0pd tdi engine, at the time of ordering i didn't think i would use it but i, sure i would so, firstly is it a case of getting the stalk and fitting and then having it activated within the ecu software and if so how and where can i have this done and at what cost.

sorry if this has been covered before.

I believe Ben at Shark performance does it for around £100. Just of J29 M1.

Hi Mark,

I had cruise control fitted by Ben at Shark Performance in Mansfield about a month ago, first class bloke, did the job in an hour or so for £125.

Even gave the wife and me a lift into Mansfield and picked us up again when the job was done.

great, thanks for the replies, ive emailed shark performance and waiting a reply.

cheers.

Let us know mate as i am interested in fitting this also.

Most of the cars do just need the switch and programming with some of the earlier cars needing a wire adding. But some of the basic steering column ecus won't accept the coding.
