ok thanks' thirdtimeluck'

Depends on what Audi the wheels came off, Audi's have used 5x100 and 5x112 PCD (amongst others)

18's will fit but 17's are better to retain the same rolling circumference if using 205-40-17 tyres. Check out Oxbol (sp) for 18's fitted.

Dont mention the wheels, especially to the missus.

Kerbed me VRS last week, managed to polish the scratch out after Kwik-fitting a £140 tyre, Skoda wanted £141 plus fitting.

Kwik-fitters managed not to laugh when they asked me the mileage.

950miles!

Aaaagh.

Ouch! You won't be doing that again.

How is the performance now it's run in a bit? i.e mpg, is acceleration remarkedly improved - I've heard it's pretty poor to start with? :)

Its definitely loosening up a bit now and going better! Lifetime average 35mpg to date but i rarely get out of town, and when I do its fun time!

Yes they will (miy Fab has the vRS alloys on) and DONT DO IT!!!!!

Ruins the handling and they have cause a load of systems on my car to go wrong or play up!
