Yeti v Countryman

Featured Replies

I just saw a Countryman "in the flesh" so to speak ... anyone who can possibly compare that to a Yeti really need to go to Specsavers!

Seriously, it's tiny!

OK, so perhaps they can do this, but I'll bet with a bit of tweaking, a Yeti won't be too far off the mark!

Are you sure it wasn't a Clubman? They are tiny. The Countryman is similar in size to the Yeti on the outside bar being a little bit shorter. But the Countryman is a lot smaller on the inside than a Yeti. There is a lot of inefficient use of the metalwork at the back of the Mini in particular, presumably in an attempt to give it some style.

There is another thread going about the scarcity of Yetis on the road. Well despite all of the hype, there don't seem to be too many Countrymans either - unless you count all of the demo stock at my nearest dealer!

As for the WRC Mini, don't forget Skoda should be competitive too with the Fabia.

Having "Googled" what I saw, it probably was a Clubman.

By the way, is it Countrymans or Countrymen?
