ECU remap now what?

Featured Replies

Hi I recently became the owner of a 05 black vrs  which the previous owner had put a 210bhp remap on which he claims had been tested and showed the turbo giving out 17psi. Wasnt originally going to go for a remapped car but its in very nice condition was a nice price and i have no worries 400 miles later. My question is it is a good idea to change anything else i.e. the hose, the valve, slightly worried they will fail under the increased pressure having looked at some forge products on the dpmperformance site and would rather have piece of mind that the parts are up to the job also can you get a green intake hose to keep with the skoda colour scheme?

no all the standard parts will cope fine

the only thing i would change if it hasnt been done is the dump valve to a forge 007p with green spring

thats it the rest will be fine
