The drain plug that fits on to the bottom of the black coolant pipe, is loose. It tightens to about 50 to 60% but then keeps swivelling. The threads on the plug look ok. The washer looks a bit worn. I'd like to replace both plug and washer but can't find the part anywhere on the internet. Can anyone please help?!

So long as it isn't leaking leave it alone and drain when needed by removing the bottom hose. Some PTFE tape on the threads might be a good idea.

Little hardware shop( assuming there's still some around) ,plumbers merchant .Little tip -though - when applying tape to nut, wind on in tightening direction - otherwise it tends to come off as you screw in .

Again ,another little tip - keep eye on temp gauge till happy all is well ,and if in doubt , turn heater full on and ensure output is HOT. (First thing to lose water in most engines is heater ,so if cold - you're losing water ,or got an airlock--first is serious, second just a COLD pain)
