I've just read an article in last weeks Farmers Weekly where they had on on test and took it to Germany. They tested a 59 plate Elegance model, it even had the panoramic sunroof!!

They did like it.

"It is a geeky, awkward looking beast, much like its hairy namesake. It looks like it should be reserved for the sort of geography teacher who wears sandals with socks, has an unhealthy interest in glacial movements and is permanently teathered to an OS map.

But I do like the Yei's individuality. It's one of those cars you still get excited about when you see one on the motorway. And you experience that same warm feeling of solidarity with other owners that you get with Land Rovers.

You want to wave frantically at the owner and invite them around for tea and Garibaldi biscuits."

" The Yeti is quirky, nippy and entertaining to drive.

It won't give you the street cred of its haughtier cousins like the Audi and VW might, but it has acres more character. There's plenty of room for a family and it cuts more of a dash than you might expect."

Not sure about some of the comments but overall I'd say quite a positive report.
