PAS not on for 1st 5 or so seconds.

Hi, i'm not sure if this issue has already been raised but can't look through it all: basically when i start my fabia vrs it takes about 5 seconds for the power steering to kick in, infact you can barely turn the wheel untill it comes on. This is only a recent problem in the last 2 weeks. I see some people mention trying a new battery, this may work but anyone any other thoughts or ideas? Also where would you recommend to get a new battery for the vrs? cheers for help!!

New battery, and motor factors. I got one last week with 3 year warranty for motor serv, £70. They had cheaper and more expensive.

Matt

I got one of these from Tayna.

5 year guarantee on this badboy.

That's confidence in your product if I ever saw it.

Check your "Load signal wire" - that could be causing the low battery symptoms.

Had this problem and it was solved with a new battery. If you have the OEM battery it may well have a "magic eye" which will give you a clue as to what condition it is in.
