How do I remove the airbag/steering wheel on my 2006 octavia 2 vrs?

Where is the airbag removal clip??

DISCONNECT BATTERY FIRST!!! WAIT 10 MINS

Easy, turn wheel 90 deg,from straight ahead,with mirror look behind wheel you will find a hole put long thin screwdriver and catch a clip,you will know when you have got it airbag will release from that side,then turn 180 deg and repeat and it will come off.

Pull airbag safety tab towards you bit fiddly and the plug should come away from connector.

As above ^^^, with the screwdriver in the hole, lift the handle upwards (towards the roof) to release the clips.

Whatever you do do not connect the battery and turn the ignition on with the airbag disconnected - unless you have VCDS, otherwise you will need the light turning off.
