***HELP*** Cant get in/out of the rear drivers door......

I think the solenoid has packed up in the rear drivers side door.... The door is deadlocked so i'm pretty much fooked. MOT is looming as well.... F'kin great!!!!!

Any advice very much welcome

yep the only way steve if deadlcked is to pull the door panel of from the inside it will break a couple of little clips but there 12p from skoda as ou cant get to the screws around the outside

you then try hitting the mechanism and see if she come to life again if not you have to smash it off from the inside until you can feel the main mechanism and then you should be able to lift it of deadlock and open manually it really is fiddly but easy enough

then a new lock cost about £70 from skoda

It may be a broken wire, see if you can access the wiring by removing the internal B post trim.
