A fellow briskodian has offered a gearbox/clutch combo, wheel hub and wheels.

So he put the 05 Sport stock alloys onto my w-reg fabia classic, they look good, we didn't put in any offsets (not sure if any are needed), gonna do balancing this week.

Then I got greedy and said that I want the gearbox, clutch and a left wheel hub from the donor car.

Questions being:

Will the parts fit? Is there anything we need to know? Are the wheels ok (can someone confirm that these don't need offsets)?

If this works, my lovely little fabia will successfuly avoid the scrapyard for a few more years.

I hope so, with them being 1.4, but then yours is an MPI and I assume the sport is a 16v. Might be some differences to overcome to get the gearbox on. The hub should fit fine without any worries.

Would love to hear something more concrete, but thank you very much for the tip on the hub (as that is the most pressing issue at the moment)
