Got my new (to me anyway!) vRS yesterday, and am absolutely loving it

The car is embarrassingly filthy and will be washed next weekend!

Some questions though.

1) There appears to be some sort of bizzare sex toy attached to the back of my front seats (see picture), what does it do?

2) I have a cd player in the car, but would quite like to be able to use my ipod, is there a lead I can get from skoda to fit into the back of the standard head unit, if not, how hard it is to change the headunit? (I think ive got an ipod compatable head unit from an old car floating around somewhere)

3) Whilst I've been lurking round here for a while, ive seen talk of EGR delete pipes, from what I can find through searches, is that its something to do with re-circulation of gas, but what actually do they do & what benefit is there to removing them?

The leather has been retro fitted, looks like a pump for the lumbar support

+1 for the lumbar support. Squeeze it to inflate and increase support on lumbar section of the back. Press button at base of 'balloon' to relieve air.

Just been out for a bit of a drive, was on the motorway fiddling with the cruise control and the check engine light came on :S

I dont think its gone into limp home mode, as it still pulls like a train between 2000 & 2500rpm.

Looked on the thread about the CEL light coming on and it mentions something about a map of people with vag-com, but the link appears to be dead?

Any ideas?
