Hi all i am wondering if the rear axle off the Leon FR/ Golf GTI is the same as the octy? Cant see a part number on mine but got a golf one 1K0 505 315 BE and wondering if the 50mm and 55mm strut is also something to be considered on the rear aswell or if its just the fronts. Anyone have the work shop manuals and can check the part number above for me. Cheers in advance.

as far as I can see "frame" on golf and leon not neccesarily FR is listed as 1 KO 505 315 BH whereas skoda octy MY 09 is 1KO 505 315 BG hope this helps, sorry I don't understand tha 50-55 reference bit new to this

Front strut diameter won't effect the rear.

Cheers for the reply mate. The one in looking at has BE at the end so not sure if it's just a diff part number between manufacturers or if it is important differences :(. Bit of a nightmare and will double check my part number when I can get the car on the ramps next week. Nothing is easy these days lol
