I am a newly converted VRS owner and loving it. However some nasty person took a fancy to my drivers side win g mirror glass and helped themselves to it. After being quoted £50 by my local dealer decided to browse the web, I can find plenty off reasonable prices for a replacement for up to 2004 octavias but none for 2008 models, any idea what the difference is? My mirror is (was) heated, blue tint with anti blid spot bit, any suggestions to help track one down gratefully recieved.

Is it a face lift model? If so it's physically a bigger wing mirror, approx double the size.

I found a 2008+ one on ebay but I want advice on how to remove the interior trim. Is there a special place to lever off the plastic triangle inside?
