after owning my Fabia vRS for well over a year now, i have realised that i only ever open the boot using the boot latch (well, you would, wouldnt you?) but i never use the key fob. so, today, i went out and i needed to open the boot so decided to use the button on key, but the key didnt open it - yeah, i pressed twice too!

so, am i missing something, or shall that button of mine just remain redundant for all eternity....?

any help as always is greatly appreciated.

Hold button down for two or 3 secs

That should work, it does for mine.

just be careful you don't put the keys down in the boot and then shut it

cos it will RELOCK

Tried holding it down for 2 seconds? Dad's Audi needs the open button held down for a bit, although I think on my car it only needs 1 brief press?
