Right I've managed to call in several favours to get hold of some kosei racing rims for only 350 custom paintwork on them for my vrs. But not sure on the fitments please can you tell me if these are going to need work to go on or if they will never fit at all or slip straight on like I'm hopping your going to say. All I know is PCD 100 Offset 42. There 17's. Thanks for the help.

PCD is 100 (5 holes obviously) Offset will depend on the width of the rim. I believe the OEM alloys are ET38 at 6.5in?

PCD and offset are OK (assumng they're five stud off course) - ony other thing is that the centre bore needs to be correct. If it's too big you can use spigot rings, if it's to small you'll need an engineering firm to enlarge it for you.

What is the width of the wheel? 8" (will say something like 8j on the wheels)

Nope that's OK - 205/40/17 or 215/40/17 will work on a Fabia.

Width of the wheels is important though, so make sure you have that info. As mentioned the offset is lower than that of the std wheel, so they will sit slightly further into the arch. But it also depends on the design of the wheel as to the overall look. Do you have any photos of them?

Not sure what width they are yet I only have a few pics of what they look like there a bit crap at the mo but an styling are doing a custom job for me. Deep dish style on them will try and get some pics up soon on iPod touch at the mo. What width should I try And avoid?

get some 20mm hubcentric spacers whacked on

Well going by the tyre size the rim is 8-8.5j wide is it worth getting 5mm spacers or should i not bother?? Heres some pictures for a look first 2 are the actual rims the other one is one i found on google.

The dish (rim) is going to be silver with the vrs logo in the dish, the spokes are going to be black, the kosei racing on the rim is going to be the green my calipers are done in as will the center caps.
