took it to garage this afternoon. rang me back couple of hours later confirming that it was shagged. oh and to add to expense my drivers side front sus spring has broke. this causes problems as i cant tell whether or not the springs are stock or have been uprated as there is still quite a lot of room in the wheel arches yet the suspension is solid?!?! :wonder:

buy a full set of eibach springs -25mm

Think a new spring is £55 a corner from Skoda, so lowering ones are pretty good value at roughly £100 - £150 off eBay.
