While on the phone to the dealers sorting out the purchase of my Yeti, I happened to mention the large furry Yeti shown in the brochure... when I went to collect the car, I found I had a backseat passenger:

He seems quite happy and well behaved, although my map book looks a bit chewed at the corners now!

Just wondered if anyone else on here had a Yeti in their Yeti?

After having a discussion with my dealer about the quality of my towbar wiring, I asked for a large Yeti as compensation, this he has agreed to.

I didn't realise it was so big.

Was at the dealer's back when the Yeti had just been released. They had one in the showroom with the tailgate open.

SWMBO in her curiosity walked around it only to be greeted by the large white hairy monster sitting in the boot - unexpected, she practically jumped out of her skin. Bet they caught out a few punters with that one.

I had two Yeti's for my boys,There 6 and 2.

When we ordered our Yeti there was the traditional shaking of hands with the salesman and then the chat to the 'Finance' person. Who had also just ordered a Yeti in almost exactly the same spec as ours. One of the major demands made on the purchase of our Yeti was that it should come equipped with the white furry character as mentioned here. The Finance chappie had already ordered a furry one and promised to give it to us once his wife (for whom his Yeti was purchased had gotten over the shock.

I wonder if they will remember!

We have had a furry Yeti since Christmas, he appeared under the tree. Now we are waiting for our Rosso Brunello Elegance to be built for him to sit in.

I mentioned this as a bargaining chip when buying our Octy in January, thinking our wee one would like it.

The dealer gave us the one from his showroom, but SWMBO didn't like it so we gave it back (plus who knows how many visitors had handled it whilst in the showroom)

Dealer later said something about each delearship getting one gratis for promotional purposes, but ordering new ones would cost them £80 a pop !

AND all merchandise is shown at 15% VAT. Poor Skoda. Their websites are so behind the times. Go quick buy something and moan when they charge you 2,5% too much! Or wait until January and ask for 5%!

I've got one lounging in the back of my Yeti called Snowy ;-) Unfortunately hes a bit of a bad influence on the kids and it quite often kicks off when the boys and Snowy are in the car together :-(

And I bet it's always Snowy's fault.......................................................??
