Window Blinds - Palm Automotive

Featured Replies

Have been waiting for some information from Palm Automotive about the custom fit blinds they do.

Can't seem to get hold of much more info or any close ups so have decided to order some and see how they are. Only information is in the form of generic pictures and video. Fingers crossed they are ok.

I will post when they are fitted to let you all know what they are like.

They do post and pre FL sets for both hatch and estate.

Hi these blinds look really great would you have to remove the door card to fit?looks as if you might

I had a litlle look too!

I have seen these split rear window ones before and if I was spending MY money, I would go for the genuine Skoda ones, even though they are more expensive as the rear window comes in one peice, giving a cleaner look.

I would echo that diagnosis would be better to get the genuine skoda one's,this however would now cost a small fortune to retro fit genuine skoda, hope they are not to much of a hassle to fit all the best post pics before n after

the genuine skoda blinds are available in the accessories brochure and cost if i remember about £130 just for the rear blind alone vs about £70 for the whole set from Palm or sunshades

I have these on my Zafira, and they are the dogs b*****ks, easy to fit and remove, you can also have the windows slightly open without fear of flies etc getting in. I remove mine during the winter months but leave the clips in as they are not very intrusive. One of my better buys :giggle:

i am thinking about these but worried about visability when it is dark, can you see through them when it's dark? or is it gonna be a lot of inconvenience taking them all off and fising each one one every time I driv in the dark/day time?

Came today and are wrong size and shape. I think they may have sent one for the Fabia I perhaps.

Are the fabia I and II windows different shapes and sizes?

I ordered the ones for 'Fabia Estate 2007 - ' was I right?

Cheers

The reduced visibility is only issue when parking somewhere tight and unlit at night. when driving they have the benfit of preventing glare through your interior mirror from headlghts behind. I haven't had to dip it once.

i've just had a look at the accessories brochure and it's the side window shades for the estate that's almost £100. The back is extra charge around £70.. It's also extra for the side 3rd row window for the estate.

Agreed Fatbloke, I too think they are good at reducing glare, and haven't had any issues with them.

so can you see through them at night at all, say if a person in dark clothes stood by the back side window, would you see.

I suppose it's like the same effect as net curtains. Whichever side has the most ambient light will be able to be seen from the other side. As long as there is a little light outside and the car interior lights aren't on you will see.
