When did you order the Octavia?

I havent ordered a Octavia ?

I have a Superb on order which is delayed by 6 weeks so the lease company is sorting out a loan car which i have been told is an octavia, which i iam assuming is being supplied by SUK or the dealer supplying the car to the lease company which is Lookers, which have loads of dealers in there portfoilo, so assume that the car is being supplied by SUK as if it was being suplied by there standard dealer network then an easier to come by car would be supplied ie vectra/mondeo

does that make sense ?

Can I ask you a couple of questions:

1.Has the dealer offered any explanation for the delay?

2. How many weeks were you originally quoted for delivery?

I'm interested to know as I've ordered a similar car and there seem to be some wide variations with regards to delivery times (I was quoted about 19 weeks when I ordered 1st week in September btw)

Thanks,

Mark.

unfortunatly I am a little bit out of the loop as the Fleet manager is sorting that side of it out

but car was ordered around 2nd week August and i was tod at the time that they would expect delivery around 20th Oct

this was then pushed back to end oct/1st week nov which wasnt a problem as my current car is due off lease on the 29th oct so a few days of either extending the lease or sorting out a loan car

but the problem now is my current car has suddenly become problamatic (Honda CRV) maybe its just a last ditch atempt by the car to stay with me ): as we have had 3 enyojable years and covered 120k miles in that time mostly trouble free !

but there is an intermitent fault with the altinator which refuses to show its self when i take it to the dealer Vey annoying

my full spec is a 140CR elagance with Steel grey, park asist , power boot , mdi , spare wheel and aftermarket limo black tints oh and floor mats

I've just ordered a 170 CR twin-door, candy white, with KESSY, heated seats, tinted windows & wood trim... what are my chances of having it delivered before 1st March 2011? A delivery date anytime after 1st Feb and i think i'll just ask them to hang onto it until the 11 plates start in March.

Hey Andy

Your Fleet Manager probably promised a bit more than what he knew was possible... or said in another way... He lied.

Getting a Skoda Superb (whatever the spec) from the factory is atleast 3 months.

I would like to think he was "lied to" or given unrealistic delivery dates !

thanks for input

oh well could now be an early christmas present !

If they offer you a loan car don't forget they are obliged to offer you vouchers instead.
