Best current new suspension

Featured Replies

Looks like my old KW V1s cannot be rebuilt :( so I am going to have to look at getting brand new suspension around Xmas time. Not going to do the wallet any favours but fingers crossed I get an Xmas bonus this year.

So, if say I had a max of around £600 to spend, what do you think the best suspension for the fabia would be? I am somewhat put off KW now as my old set didn't last that long, and the set I have on now from Oilburninut have not lasted long either. :(

I love my fk silverlines. Been on the car two years without issue :)

I've had my KW's on for over 2years now and done 60k miles and there fine but i've got V"'s but cant see that making a diff to the build quality

Thats a bit shocking Jas. I know you've never had your sets from new but how many miles have you covered in them? I take its the fronts thats failed? Is it not possible to buy new inserts and just replace them? I'm sure I've seen a thread on a forum somewhere were I guy did a guide on a set of FK's.

Found it http://www.fiatforum.com/punto-guides/202146-how-rebuild-fk-coilovers-new-dampers.html

Hi Jason, mate sorry to hear about it! I take it you have been speaking with KW about it all?

Only thing is the Eibach use KW dampers and Weitec/AP use KW too so struggling to recommend. The only one I would like at from there would be the H&R kits but they are pretty expensive :(
