coilovers

Featured Replies

I know obviously fabia 1will fit my 2001 fabia, but what others, ie, polo 9n, audi a2, ibiza mk??

What i'm trying to say is what other cars have the same platform as a fabia??

I'm doing a budget build and as not many people have as many fabias as say polo's, i thought it would be easier to find second hand set of polo coilovers etc!!

check the application list for a new set from any good suppliers website, that should tell you what you need to know emoticon-0148-yes.gif

My fabia has coilovers for a polo

Just be careful doing it on the cheap as iirc not all fabia coilies fit the vrs due to the weight difference. I'm sure someone will elaborate more

I thought it was usually just shocks and springs that were affected by weight?

Matt

maybe its that, but i know certain makes dont list that they are suitable for vrs

Polo 9n and ibiza 6L all share the same chassis platform, I think the A2 may be slightly different? Anything for the other two will fit though suspension wise.

Worth checking applications though as axle weights might well be different even for the same engine.

matt1chelski did you purchase coilovers for a polo 9n i take it is there different versions for 3dr and 5dr polos???

any help would be great as may have some polo ones lined up

Always check application and part numbers but usually the Ibiza 6L and Polo 9N are the same kits.

Mine were used, so I don't actually know lol.
