front wheel bearing oe part number

Featured Replies

before everyone jumps on the "use the search" band wagon i have done and drawn a blank. i'm after the oe part number and price of a front wheel bearing (driver's side if it makes a difference) for my 52 plate vrs. i paid £44 for the passenger side and because i'm tight as F*&% i'm sure i could get it cheaper on fleabay. just need the part number to cross reference.

cheers

Isn't that lot grounds for dumping her?!

First time my (now ex) gf drove my Octy she managed to drive over a kerb and break off some of the under bodywork engine mount bits of plastic on the offside of the side.

The plasic engine under guards have just left the while I was driving lol, I dnt think the list above warrants a divorce or would be a decent excuse in court as grounds for one? :)

Just a word of warning about cheap wheel bearings,i made the mistake of fitting cheaper brand wheel bearings to my mk1 vrs & 5k later they had worn out. :'( i then replaced them with a better quality pattern part & they where still ok 10k later! i fitted them myself so it was only annoying to do the job again but if your paying a garage it could get expensive. £44 isnt to bad for a bearing,i paid £35 for mine.(trade account) :)
