Just wondering if anyone knew whether a Mk1 gear stick top will fit a Mk2 gear stick? (I think thats the nicest way I can phrase that sentence!!)

I know that you can put the mk2 Leon gearknob on the mk1 as i have the K1 on mine, so presume that it must be the same with the octy. Hope that helps.

I've replaced the knob on my vrs, and also helped my cousin swap the knob on his '02 golf gti (mk4) the other weekend.. not having the opportunity to compare side by side I can't be 100% sure, but i'd say yes they were the same.

Mk4 golf would be same I guess as a mk1 octavia.

Yea looks very nice fair play. Not a big fan of the standard one so will be keeping an eye on my options and have one little idea but not sure if i can do it yet but under wraps at the mo lol. If it works then all will be reveiled
