picked up my new car yesterday and really happy with it but can the door open and shut alarm be switched off? ive got maxidot if it can be done through that? i think its gonna do my head in am i the only one who would rather just have the indicator lights flash?

Do you mean the plip/beep when you lock and unlock the car?

If so then yes it can, not sure how but someone will be along to tell!

Having maxidot will make it much easier...

Its selectable in Maxidot (if you have that option)

If not, then anyone with VAGCOM can do it for you, as can your dealer.

It can be turned off in maxidot,

Go into convenience mode, I think there's an option called ATA, it will be turned on, turn it off and that should sort it!
