hi everybody.....my names paul and ive just bought my first skoda......i ride motorbikes in the summer and i have been using a morris minor during the winter months.....ive been looking for something a bit more comfortable,quicker and practical....the skoda pick up seems to fit the bill well......picked up on thursday and drove 120 miles home with no problems....next day the coil packed up.....oh the joys of motoring.....has`nt put me off the skoda though.iam plesently supprised by the build quality.....great site...ill update the coil problem as i go.....best regards paul

hi teflon tom....thanks for the welcome.......iam new to skoda ownership and dont know a great deal about them...i bought the pick-up last thursday and drove home 120 miles with no problems,drove nice,steering a little heavy though,next day the coil packed up.....ahhh the joys of motoring......best regards paul

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
