KONI FSD Question?

I am looking at fitting Koni FSD's on my FL Octavia vrs, question is which??? there are two types for the Octavia VRS I have discovered, the kit number 2100-4001 for the Octavia including VRS and the 2100-4090 is also listed as for the VRS and Golf GTI, apparently the dampers have been uprated on the 4090 kit as apparently the Golf GTI drivers were of the opinion that the 4001 kit did not give much, if any, improvement over stock so Koni have from what I've been told increaded the damping rates and the firmness of the FSD valve.

What I am pondering is whether the 4090 will be too hard, is the GOLF GTI sprung / damped harder than the Octy VRS? if so then I'll probably stick with the 4001 kit as I don't wnat it firmer, just more controlled with the small bump response improved along with a reduction in body pitching in corners and on braking / acceleration.
