Accosted in Morrisons car park...

Featured Replies

Walking back to the car after picking up some groceries, and noticed a couple of blokes peering into the windows of the Yeti. Was a little concerned at first, then they explained they were just admiring the car :-)

One had a Honda CR-V, the other a Golf TDI, and seemed quite interested in the performance and how it was to drive. Needless to say, the Yeti got glowing praise!

GREAT to hear it ginandtonic

Long may that continue :giggle:

Great news - pity it wasn't Harrods.

I got accosted by a Yeti enthusiast in a Travel Lodge car park - no accounting for taste!?!

I've had two people in the last couple of weeks looking in my Yeti in car parks and when offered they were only to happy to be shown inside it. Both went away with a visit to the dealer next on the agenda.

It is an interesting one. None of my previous cars have ever brought about any level of interest and the Yeti certainly does that. My wife used to have a Fiat 500 and people would literally run up to her to ask to see in that, once even when she was at a set of traffic lights when they were on red! There was a real level of love of the car and the design in that one. The Yeti interest tends to be a practical and admiring one but that does not make it any less satisfying when someone walks away with a knowing nod and a smile.
