My Wheels have arrived

Nope they won't since the hub caps are convex in shape. The plan is to use a resin glue or a no-nails mastic to fill the area and thus give a flat surface and be the "glue" at the same time.

I saw a VW Caddy in Greece with these caps on and I have to say you could not see that they were from a VW since the lettering is so small and upside down for most of it! So I might not even use the caps. I'll see once I have the winter wheels on.

I can find the part number on their back if you want some as well?

I have some T5 ones with VW on themso will want to cover them up. I also have similar Skoda badges/stickers.

I think Mike isn't the only person interested in the part number. I've just purchased some 16" black steels for the other half's A3 (5x112 so pretty standard VAG size) and think the matt black caps would keep the utility look and provide protection for the wheel nuts - so if you could post the part numbers I'll see if i can get some too. Thanks :)

The part number on mine is a VW one: 7H0 601 151

I am using evo stick impact to hold the Skoda decals in place. I tried superglue - (still on fingers) and no nails, neither which seemed to hold.

Make sure you glue beyond the edge and remove later. to make sure it stays put around the circumference and also give it at lease 5 mins before putting together. I eve stuck both sides.

I haven't got them on perfectly central, but it is the best I could do at the time. They'll look alright when stationary, just 'run a little off' when being driven, but as I won't see them.....emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
