You should have bought a Clio Sport instead. Would have had a bit of street cred then.

Is it brand new? If so the first 1000 miles can't come quick enough whilst running it in.

I have had mine for just under a month now and was very good at keeping it below 4000rpm, it has just over 1100 miles on the clock now and am finding excuses to go out and drive it, I drink all the milk in the house so that when we run out I can have a 5 mile round trip to go and get some, strange thing is the shop is only 0.5 miles away .

Anyway enjoy and post back and let us know what your other half thinks about it.

So you don't think it does any harm to give it stick right from the start. I wish I had know, it was like waking on Christmas morning when younger, seeing a room full of presents but not being able to open them till after tea time.

right had the motor for three days now!! 600 miles and counting. god this car is amazing and has a lot of street cred with people in the know about cars! i have stuck below 4k rpms (well twice went upto 6.5k) i find though that there is a lot of turbo lag! anybody else found this?
