Hi, first post here so go easy on me!

I am due to pick up my 2007 Fabia vRS on Saturday and would be looking to get in remapped in the near future. My question is, where in the North East is there a reputable company? It seems very hitty-missy. I have been looking at TDperformance, they seem a decent bunch of lads but there isn't much in the way of reviews for them. So where have you lot had your cars mapped?

I had a similar problem, I ended up going with an STS unit from Ben at Shark Performance in the group buy and i've been happy with the map, in honesty i'd just drive down next time as it's only a few hours and it's easy enough to make a day of it. Failing that you'll find local Revo stockists such as Just Diesels in Blaydon (they also do petrol mapping) or you could ask Presteige German Cars in Shields who they use or Revolution will point you to someone in Birtley if memory serves.

Personally I wanted a decent map from someone I trusted, knew what they were doing, and had built a reputation with VAG cars, not just downloaded a load of unknown maps and played Russian roulette with my car without ever getting anywhere near a dyno or was reselling generic maps that didn't always have the best user feedback especially for the DSG gear box which I have.

Thanks for that. I think i will ask Revolution who they use/reccomend purely because they are quite a reputable company round here and also very professional, making me think they will only reccomend the best person for the job. I would certainly be interested in getting the car on a rolling road, but not really sure where does it round here? Maybe next time there's a group day i might go
