noise from front suspension

Featured Replies

Hi there guys , i currently have an issue with my front suspension . The front of the car is making a rattling noise on uneven road surfaces , I have had the car checked and there was nothing visible and all bushes seemed ok. I had the two drop links replaced as i was told that those were the most likely cause but the noise is still there . I have now been told it is most likely that its the strut itself that is worn causing the rattle .The car is a 2007MY petrol vrs & has only done 27000 miles . looking for some advice as to what else it could be and best solution to the problem . If i have to replace parts i might change to koni fsd's and eibach springs or coilovers not sure what yet though so any advice on this would be great too .

Thanks

Allan

Sorry for bringing back an old thread but I still have the same issue as posted previously. I have replaced the top mounts and struts and also the drop links but still have the rattling noise. The dealer can't seem to find the issue as everything looks ok.

Thanks

I think I have the same problem. I have had everything checked and it all as solid as a rock. I'm stumped.
