Independent Skoda agents

Featured Replies

I know there are plenty of independent service agents for the likes of VW, BMW & MERC etc but does anyone know if there are any for Skoda ? Particularly in the south of England. I tend to find the independant people a bit more open minded and up front than most of the Franchise agents.

i know of a vw one by portishead juction 19 m5???

My local veedub independent place turned out more expensive than my main dealer. :grumpy: It doesn't always work that way. I think its better to find a friendly back street garage mechanic instead.

I used a friendly next door neighbour for my wifes out of warranty Octy and my Felicia before it.

depends what you want done tbh!!

was thinking more along the lines of diagnosis, problem solving etc. dealers ok for servicing and fairly cheap but generally weak on solving a problem (unless the computer tells them what is up) IMO

yeh but main dealers want it in and out asap, while your backstreet man..who has time on his hand (and your car for longer) will charge u a bomb!!
