Hey,

I'm Michael, i'm 18 and come from Kilmarnock, if you know where that is please dont judge me lol

I've just bought my second car which is a 2004 Skoda Fabia VRS, i'm collecting it on Saturday and literally cannot wait!

I've done a lot of research into this car and found myself constantly coming back to this forum so thought it would be a sensible idea to join up.

I've got plenty of ideas for this car, nothing chavy and ridiculous, I prefer more subtle modifications aswell as uprating performance.

First job for saturday is giving the VRS a proper clean and minimizing the various scuffs and marks its accumulated over the years.

Welcome :)

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hello and welcome to Briskoda.

Make sure to check out the Scottish Region.

hi & welcome

Don't know if you've had any experience driving something as lively as a vRS but be VERY, VERY careful out there. I've been driving for twice as long as you've been alive & SWIMBOS Furbie has caught me out a couple of times :o:o:rofl:

Take it easy & safe Michael & i KNOW you'll enjoy the Furbie

My eldest lad is turning 17 soon & we've had a quote for £5000 just to insure a 1.4 Astra LS worth £500. Hate to think what you're paying on the vRS :'(

Hey,

Thanks for the advice, previously the most powerful car I had driven was my friends Range Rover but it wasn't nearly as much fun as the VRS has proven too be.

The insurance is bearable, i'm with Admiral on the 10 month accelerator so I paid for 10 months insurance but get a years no claims (so long as i dont claim obviously) i'd definately recommend it as an option for young drivers :)

Thanks for the info on Admiral, i'll give 'em a call
