I have just joined this forum after recently purchasing and 08 plate Skoda Fabia 3 1.9TDi Estate.

What sort of real world fuel consumption figures is everybody getting? My car has now clocked up 33000 miles.

Well i have a Tdi CR Vrs and have only done 385 miles but my average according to the trip is 48.6 mpg. I know that is very few miles and that the trip mpg is woefully inaccurate but its still a hell of a lot better than my 04 Fiat Stilo 2ltr CR Tdi which averaged mid to low 30's on the tript, and i have given the throttle a good poke once or twice already so have not really been gentle with the throttle.

I have a Fabia 2 Estate 1.4 TDI and on average a mix of town driving and a couple of longer drives with a total mileage of 600 miles since we purchased the car I'm returning about 49MPG.

Thank you for your replies. On long A/road runs at around 60MPH, I average about 56MPG. I have travelled 2000 miles since I got the car and am now doing my weekly commute to work which is approximately 7 miles town driving and 6miles A roads. My average is now down to 52MPH on the trip computer, which I expect to be about 50MPG brim to brim when I next fill my fuel tank up.
