Nokia CK-200 Bluetooth car kit

Featured Replies

Just fitted a Nokia CK200 Bluetooth car kit in my 2010 FL Fabia 1.2 TSi 105 today. I was looking for a car kit that would work ok with my iphone 4 and Uplands Car radio suggested this unit.

It has a small removable screen and a wireless remote and is fitted using a sot lead to the rear of the standard head unit to allow calls to be put through the front speakers, the only wire that needed connecting to the fuse box was an ignition sensing feed wire that was fitted using a piggyback blade fuse.

Two features that might be of interest to other forum members are:-

Connection to two mobiles at the same time switchable by the remote.

Option to change the screen text from ice, red, green ,blue, turquoise etc. to match your white or red multidot or your green dash display,

Text messages displayed on screen for Nokia S60 phones or later ( this is the only feature that wont work with my iphone 4 or works Nokia 3110c)

Forgot to mention kit was £100 + Sot lead price is bound to come down as more become available.

Mic is part of the display and works really well, was able to have conversation at 70mph with a mate and he said call quality was good.

I did not have to pull the car apart to fit it. The sot lead and control unit was poked down behind and below the head unit into the space in the centre console and as mentioned the ignition sensing wire was routed to the fuse box (you do not have to do this as you could manually switch the unit on and off via a button on top of the display).

I fitted the display to the right of the steering wheel, the wire running under the dash and hidden by the door seal up to the dash and that was it, didn't have to feed mic wire up the A post or into the headlining as it is in the display.
