Can anyone tell me if i’m going to get my car lubed up where the areas are to cover? I know the wishbone bush would be a good starting point but are there are others that need lubing?

but should i be using a non petroleum based grease as this stops the rubber being attacked?

The only things that need lubricating are hinges and locks (doors and hatch).

I remember on old cars (eg. minis and metros etc) had grease nipples that needed greasing with a grease gun regularly. However I don't think modern cars need it, unless there is a problem with the bushes.
