Now your probaly thinking im insane, BUT the Golf has 12k receipts for work carried out at derv doctor

some of the stuff is

Dbilas performance camshaft

Tubular manifold with exhaust gas temperature sensor

TurboDynamics Hybrid Garrett VNT20 Turbocharger

Custom made down pipe to meet Milltek system

High Flow Injectors (+40% Flow over stock PD130/150)

PWR Air to Liquid Intercooler, with custom 5 litre header tank and large pre-rad

ERL Water Injection System with 10 litre in boot water tank

Helix single mass flywheel and up-rated clutch

Carbon Air Intake and cone filter behind bumper

Plus lots more, main plan is to de-chav it, ive already got rid of some decals, fitted a standard golf grille, just need some anniversary wheels and front valance and its done

Whats with the IC pipe around the engine and the pukka pie base in the middle? :D

Peak torque and power seems to be up the rev range a bit more..! v v tasty..

How Chavveh does it look atm?

Nice one Jase - as a former mk-iv golf owner, i'll always have a soft spot for them.

Any full external pics of car?

How do you find it compares to the Fabia?

I was a little surprised with the peak torque figure, but as long as it covers a decent useable range, I bet it flys!

Doesnt run an intercooler as such, its a charge cooler, AIR to WATER

Strange set up

Pictures are quite embarrassing, they were when i first got it,

i've since de-stickered, stuck full rubstrips on, an original grille

still need an anniversary front splitter and standard headlights to finish it

Whoever done it had a lot of money but not much taste

watch this space B)

That PWR charge cooler should eliminate the lag you would normally get with a huge FMIC, be interesting to see what charge temps you see running that set up.

most people have peak torque around 2.2rpm and buzz on about it, peak torque down low is pants, it just spins the wheels, the longer you can hold onto the torque the better, peak torque at 3.9k rpm is phenomenal :o

is there a separate pump to push teh water round the charge cooler or is it all piped into the radiator system?

Thats a pretty clever system..

From the pics I assume the big silver box holds storage and pump :)

So from this set up I assume someone is going to fit a big fat turbo and see what happens?
