I see you haven't had any replies yet. Dare I say it might be a problem with the motor in the mirror? Or the wiring? I'd have checked those before replacing the switch - which I'd have thought would have been OK if it makes the one of the left work properly... I've not had a problem with the mirrors so can't say how the motor and its mechanism works...

Door trim needs to come off to check the wiring, might be a motor issue.

The mirror clips into place. Could be that the clips are not all holding. The mirror can be pulled off to check.

Pull at top - it's a bit frightening as you expect it to break - and it will unclip. Inside you'll see the movement and be able to see it working (or not!).

Think it's the motor as it's not doing anything when the switch is used.
