Engine Warning Light

Featured Replies

Ok so I unplugged my MAF sensor due to thinking I have a loss of power. The car was terrible to drive and I plugged it back in, now I have the warning light on the dash. Am I riight in saying I need Vag--Com to switch it off?

Legend has it that leaving the ignition in the position where all the dash lights are on but the engine's not started can erase some faults. Got to be worth a try. Otherwise, see if there's a member near you who can help, or even get a handheld scanner or non-genuine VAG-COM cable for half what you'd pay to get a dealer to do it...

It will go off over the next few engine starts!
