The wheel Specialist

Featured Replies

Had my alloys refurbed at the Wheel specialist in Birmingham, £256 all in to strip the tyres off, chemically strip them, repair them and then powder coat them. All this was done in a day and a 12 month guarantee was given.

Very happy with the alloys and the service they gave.

Nice, i was quoted almost £350 from the wheel specialist by their Fareham branch for my 17'' Spiders.

I'm glad i decided that was too much, £256 is a very reasonable price i may give them a call and haggle.

sounds expensive compared to city powder coaters who do it for £20 each wheel. strip, coated, etc.

That isn't expensive, it's just that City are remarkably cheap really! Not sure how they make any money.

It's difficult to get a good quality job done for less than £50 a corner, in my experience.

Totally agree, had a friend with a car who had his done for a very reasonable £25 a corner, the laquer peeled off in 2 months and they refused to re do them. You definitely get what you pay for imho ;)
