Hi Guys, my mums Fabia vRS has broken down,

Called skoda assistance who did a tempory Repair apparently its the connector for the wiring to the Starter Motor,

Any Ideas of a cost to get this fixed, or whats involved?

Going to try the local garage that put on the cupra bushes for us. the roadside guy left us the connector which he took off it has the part code 1KO973751 if that makes any sense to people

Had exactly the same thing and got it repaired at the dealers. I didn't know what the problem was at the time, so this is what they did ....

"Checked battery, starter motor, located cause as problem with live wire to starter" - £90.

As you already know the problem it should cost less than that, as a lot of my cost was the investigation.
