window failure

hi iv got a problem with my windows. i have both electric window contol units and convience control unit in my car but niether window works off the door switch. iv scanned it to find no fault codes but i also cant acces the controler using vagcom.

i can disconect the passenger side controler and the drivers side works and visa versa. i dont no if its a compatibility problem or the ccu is bust.

could anyone shed some light on this.

is there some fancy programing that needs done or has any1 got the part no. for the controler. octavia vrs 1.8t.
