wrong load index sent

Featured Replies

my new nokian wrg2's have turned up from my.tyres. only thing is i ordered a 94 load rating and a 98 has turned up??

can anyone see any problem here or should i be fine? i presume they ride a little harder

the tyres look great though and cant wait to try them out..

You'll be fine

Ignore it IMO

the higher the load rating, the better.

I assume that was a typo and you mean they are all 98's? if so ignore it, yes they will be a bit harder ride but fine.

If however it is not a typo then get the wrong one replaced, it's never a good idea to mix tyres on a 'axle'.

sorry . yes they are all 98. e-mailed my.tyres and they reckon nokian are not supplying 94 at present in my size etc(225/50r17)

hey ho :wonder: anyhow im sure these will work just fine and now all we need is winter and lots of snow(cant believe i just said that!!)

Would only be a problem if they were of a much lower speed rating since load index is based also on speed.

Funnily enough, my tryes from MyTyres have just turned up.....mine too a Nokian WRG2's. I ordered 205/55/R16 91T's and 205/55/R16 94H XL's have turned up!

the load index isn't the only thing on the rise. has anyone else noticed the price steadily creeping up on these nokian's.

i knew i should have bought them a couple of months ago, would have saved £15 per tyre back then :'(

Out of intrest, what price did you pay Dunknat andf what made you choose the Nokian's?

£119.40 each in the end. been considering the nokians for a while now just from all the good comments and reviews.

they were retailing at £104 a couple of months back :( going to use them all season also so didn't want a full on 'winter tyre'..

Ouch, well you will drive these 'fast' cars with big wheels :giggle:

Hope they work out for you!
