Octavia RS TSI

Featured Replies

Im about to order a new skoda octavia rs 5 door hatchback. 2.0 petrol TSI.

First is the colour. i can not decide about. Race Blue or Black. eanyone got pictures of those colours? with 18" Neptunes.

Then. its hard to decide what suspention. I had Koni FSDs and Eibach springs on my last octavia 1z 1.9tdi

and i loved it. but on a RS i would like it a bit stiffer. Im thinking about Bilstein B12 kit. eanyone got experience with that kit? is it eany good? does it lower the RS with the 35mm they says it will?

And The Whiteline Anti Lift Kit? i guess that will fix the bad(vauge?) steering feeling? The powerflex rear bushes i fitted on my 1.9 tdi helpes a lot. i guess the WALK will be bether?

And To let people here in norway know i payd the extra ca6000eur in taxes for the petrol. it needs a Good Exaust., is Miltek the one to get?

sorry for bad english

regards kristoffer

They dont have bad steering feeling as standard IMO, slightly numb around centre but very good feedback otherwise

If you compare it to a lot of other cars the VAG cars in general is not Direct an responsive But The Powerflex Bushes in the rear mount helped my old octavia a lot.

Here you go fella, I went for the Race blue option. Pics from inside and out taken with a wide angle lens, so it looks a little distorted...........

I recently bought a race blue mk 2 octy vrs & i know its a common colour but i wanted one in that colour as i think its the best colour for one,i did have a black mk 1 octy vrs before this & black looks great when clean & polished but soon gets mucky & shows every mark on it,id personally never have a black car again.

I agre about the pain off keping the black car clean. but when it is clean it looks soo good.

My last car was a 05 Octavia 1z in Black

And Now i own a 09 Superb in Black

Can't help with suspension parts, but don't discount Brilliant Silver Metalllic.

Looks great when clean, and hides dirt & very minor marks. Also matches superbly with the silver trim / black leather interior option!

Here is my Black 5 door
