Well its getting cold outside and last year my toyo proxes were pretty useless and sometimes scary. This year im after some proper winter tyres but dont even know what im looking for, im running 205/40/17's.

People tend to use smaller wheels as you can go narrower and this allows you to cut through the slush, snow and ice.

Dont thinks you have to notify insurers when using steel wheels! will do will alloys if not skoda ones think!
