Just back from the dealers and have just seen my new L&K. She looks good but it was a little dark so no photos.

I pick her up on Thursday.

I've had 2 L&K's, I did order the mandatory pipe and slippers with both, but never received them

With my regular trips up to Scotland on business and the state of our crap roads I decided comfort came before anything else....

The only thing I find annoying with my L&K is the 45 profile tyres, they are really quite unforgiving on our roads, I am seriously considering buying either 16" elegance alloys or possibly 15" ambiente one to replace them with to help comfort. I had an Elegance octy ii before this one and it was so much smoother on the road. But thats my opinion, not everyone's I'm sure.

Well, I'm not expecting it to ride as well as my Signum, but around corners it should be a bit more rewarding.

Hopefully my L&K (1,8 TSI DSG L&K) will be biult this week so delivery 3 weeks or so away.

Did not see pipe and slippers on the options sheet. It is considerable quicker accelerating than a Wiesel VRS of course but then what is not ?

For instance Mk 1 or Mk2 petrol VRSs, Fabia 1.4 VRS, BMW 320 Eff Dynamics, these list is no doubt a reasonable sized book.

Looking forward to adaptive light, 7 speed paddle shift etc
