Retro Fit Heated Seats

Featured Replies

Afternoon,

Moved on from looking at the vRS I asked about before to looking at Limited Edition ones as they come with pretty much everything our current Golf has with one exception, heated leather!

So, is it possible to do the retro fit like this? http://vwgolfr32.co.uk/Heated-Seats.pdf

Has anyone done it?

TIA

Should be possible, its not rocket science. The heating elements are just some pads that fit under the seat cover. You'd need to get an appropriate dash switch..

Aftermarket is also a possibility:

Thanks, kinda what I was hoping for, don't suppose most of the wiring to the seats/where the switches should be is there is it?

No chance. Skoda dont waste money providing wires for stuff that isn't fitted.

Thought as much, proper wishful thinking moment there!!

Also the factory heated seat switches are part of the climate control unit.

And there is a control module under driver seat.
